Rupert has arrived! Join us for an exciting program about rhinos, make animal enrichment, and deliver it to the keepers. Ages: 3 years and up (parents must accompany children-1 parent free with paid child). Cost per child: $12 (member), $15 (non-member).
Daily, Sept. 16 - 20, 1:00 - 3:00pm
Cool temperatures send monarchs flying south to Mexico's high forests. How do these migratory butterflies find a place they have never been? Flutter by the zoo's Butterfly Garden to catch the excitement and help with a tagging research project. All ages. FREE with paid zoo admission. No registration required.
Thurs, Sept. 18, 7:00 - 10:00 pm
Zoos have come a long way in 3,000 years! Visit historical landmarks during a stroll down to the ZooZeum at dusk. Enjoy dinner at the ZooZeum while learning about the development of zoos through history from zoo historian, Amy Dee Stephens. Following dinner, make a return stroll through the zoo after dark. Ages 14 and up. Cost per person: $20 (member), $22 (non-member).

Just like trick-or-treaters, many animals have their own disguises. Learn the fascinating ways animals use camouflage to protect themselves and and join us for an evening hike through the zoo. Ages 3 and up. Cost per person: $12 (member), $15 (non-member).

It's time to get glowing! From fish to fireflies, discover how some creatures make their own light. Includes animal demonstrations, night hike, snack, continental breakfast, and morning zoo hike. Ages 4 and up (parent must accompany children). Cost per person: $30/child, $15/adult.
Sat, Oct. 25, 2:00 - 3:30 pm
Adventure under the sae to meet the creepy and not-so frightening creatures lurking in the ocean depths. We'll make spooky ocean-themed crafts, special marine animal treats, and meet our very own scuba diving pumpkin carver! Don't forget to bring your camera! Ages 3 and up. Cost per person: $12 (member), $15 (non-member).
Sat, Oct. 25, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Skip the crowds, long line, and candy. This guided hike to the 21 Halloween themed booths allows you to take photos without all the hassle! Bring your camera. Costumes optional. Hike begins promptly at 6:00 pm and participants must stay with the group. Great for sensory friendly audiences. All ages. Cost per person: $12 (member), $15 (non-member).
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
1. Cancellations must be in writing—no phone or email cancellations will be accepted.
Mail to: Education Department, OKC Zoo, 2101 NE 50th, OKC, OK 73111.
2. No refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to program start date.
3. Classes are transferable to children in the same age group; however a 20% service charge
applies for any changes in the original registration.
4. The Zoo resereves the right to cancel classes if registration is below required minimum.
5. Programs are held "rain or shine" unless zoo is closed due to severe weather conditions.
